Agnihotra Presentation at AIDS Conference, Mysore, Karnataka, India

Karin Heschl, Arun Anand and Dr Shailendra Sharma were invited by Ananta Bharatha Charitable Trust to give a presentation on Agnihotra and Homa Therapy at a conference in Mysore on 5th and 6th September, 2015.

We had a session on Health in which HIV Positive children and many people from lower income section participated. Besides there were many political leaders and also some farmers from Belgaum District in Karnataka present. Total gathering was around two thousand plus people. Some part of the hall was devoted to the people who were interested to do Agnihotra. There were around 40 pyramids placed in the hall. Agnihotra kits were supplied by Vishwa Foundation, Shivapuri, Akkalkot, Maharashtra. We instructed them how to do Agnihotra correctly.

The main speaker was Mr S.A. Ramadass, ex-Minister of Health in Karnataka State Government. After his talk we were able to give our presentation about Homa Therapy for Health.

In the evening we visited the hostel of HIV positive children. While we saw their living quarters, we were informed that they are doing a controlled study on the effect of Agnihotra. They check the viral load every three months. There were 16 boys and four girls of the age group of 6 to 15 years.

We performed Agnihotra with all of them at the precise time of sunset and again stressed on the correct procedure for Agnihotra. We offered to return for some days and train the children and staff to perform the Agnihotra correctly and do some activities with the children, like planting vegetables in pots and Mandala drawings.

On the next day another session was organised for farmers, with Vice Chancellor from Bagalkot Agricultural University, Scientists from Agricultural College. There were about 200 people present. We gave our presentation on “HOMA ORGANIC FARMING” which was followed by the presentation of Dr Shailendra Sharma, “IMPACT OF HOMA ON WATER AND ENVIRONMENTAL CRISES.”
