Dear friends,
Now is a crucial time in our lives and in the life of our planet, for all of us to really focus on our highest purpose. It is easy to get swept up into the times, the chaos, turmoil, stage of constant dramas whirling around us. But, each of us has a higher purpose to fulfill in this life, this precious life. There has never been a greater time than now to manifest yourself, your work. Focus needs to be clear and undivided.

Many of the Great Ones say it is the most intense time to be alive and the most exciting, because we can evolve so much more quickly than ever before.
We are aware of all who are in need especially during these trying times. Daily we send love and healing to those who are suffering around the world. We focus on places, as well as people. There is great power in prayer and in holding space for healing in our hearts. More Mantras, more music, more creative arts unlock the gifts we all hold, so we can share them with the world.
We have made progress in our building of the Centre of Light, which now, more than ever, we feel is essential. We are in phase two. After a great autumn with enthusiastic visitors from all around the world and amazing, helpful volunteers with hearts of gold, we really realize how much we need the space we're creating to serve more people as interest in Homa Therapy and in Ecovillage life increases.  If you would like to know more about this project, here is the link:

Agnihotra on Mount Ślęża
In October Jarek, Rory and Asia were invited by Janusz Zagórski to give a talk and demonstration of Agnihotra to a gathering on Mount Sleza, regarded as an ancient sacred place stretching back 6000 years of known history.
It certainly felt like a special place and it was wonderful to reconnect with some old friends.

Gathering of Independent Alternative Groups

The meeting was organized in Wrocław by pioneers and ecology activists in Poland to connect people working towards real change, creating methods of cooperation and mutual support. The aim is to unite people who respect all forms of life, the freedom of the individual and honour Mother Earth.

MRUKOWA
Activation of sacred site

by Parvati Rosen-Bizberg

In the past ten years, I've been led to do activations of sacred sites, where the energies are locked in the soil, stones, and rocks beneath our feet. From New Mexico, U.S., to Australia and parts of Europe —Poland, Czech, England, Slovakia—we have been activating ancient sites where, in old days, healing humans and nature had been a way of life. In activating these energetic sites, the power is brought back to life. I feel deeply grateful to be a part of this wonderful healing work.

The most recent activation site was Mrukowa, Poland. According to old historical accounts, high in the hills above the village of Mrukowa there was an ancient Pagan site which was where fire rituals were performed. It was considered an energetic site, upon which a Mother Mary chapel was later erected, on the exact site of the ancient Pagan sacred place.

Early in the morning of October 18, 2017, Jarek, Asia and I embarked on the several hour journey by car. When we arrived, we hiked up the mountainous path through a thick, magnificent forest. After 11⁄2 hours hiking up what we later discovered was the rougher route, we reached our goal. The chapel, simple, made of stone, sits in a quiet spot surrounded by trees, a small river flowing nearby. It was a magical place, untouched.

We entered the chapel, which is quite small, housing a lovely crowned statue of Mother Mary surrounded by an array of candles and flower bouquets. Along the sides of the altar were two wooden plaques covered in rosaries, hung there by pilgrims who had made the journey to worship her.

I could feel the rhythms of the ancients in the land, and the power of the many prayers that lingered in the air. I felt an overwhelming feeling of purity and love in that chapel. At the exact spot directed to, Jarek performed a Vyahruti Homa healing fire. It was a powerful feeling reinstating the ancient healing energies once again.

Centre of Light Update

December has seen the craziest weather with snow and freezing temperatures, followed by unusually warm days with the strongest winds that uprooted trees in the surrounding forest, and wrecked drying tables and greenhouses on the farm. We have watched the builders work hard in these difficult conditions and, as the strong winds blew one night, woke up expecting some damage to the newly laid roofing fabric, but mercifully everything was fine.

Work is now ongoing on the roofing tiles and if the weather holds up it should be completed in 2-3 weeks. This means we will have nearly finished this phase of construction and we can look forward to natural building workshops in spring with clay, straw and woodchip.

We are so grateful to everyone who has donated to help build the Centre of Light. It is an incredible achievement to have gotten so far. We are deeply heartened by the generous support of many around the world.

We do still need funds for this construction phase, so please continue to spread our fundraising campaign and keep the momentum going. All donations are gratefully welcome.

 Wisdom of the Heart

These are the best of times and the worst of times. But most of all, these are the greatest of times for manifestation of all which has begun in Light.

We all need to take a good, long look at our precious planet. With each day, consider the effect one life can have on the world. The effect of one human being in prayer, one sharing their heart with another, one consciously spreading joy, one listening without judging, one answering the call for healing, one lighting healing fires for the Earth.

Truly, one life can alter reality on this planet. The power lies within each and every one of us. We need to live consciously, listen actively, pray fervently, chant joyously.

Do not suppose that your dreams are not vital, not possible to come true. Be willing to take the risk in order to live your life in truth. Release all fears. Live in harmony with yourself and others.

When we utilize our great gifts, we activate the seeds within, enabling them to grow and to shine light in these darkest times.

These are times of great darkness and times of great illuminating Light.
Keep your focus on the Light.

Medicine Chest

Here you will find herbs that should have its place in every home medicine chest so you can easily treat many ailments in natural and easy way. Many healing ingredients you will find in your own kitchen and herbs may already grow in your garden or nearby forest. If only available herbs for you are in a shop buy only organic as they contain more healing qualities.

Sage
(Salvia officinalis)

Sage is a well-known culinary herb. The texture of the Sage leaf resembles that of the tongue and it is the traditional remedy for all mouth and throat problems. It can be taken as an infusion for mouth ulcers, sore throat, tonsillitis and bleeding gums. A stronger infusion can be used as a gargle for throat infections.

It is added to steam inhalations as the volatile oils help to relieve the mucous membranes. Sage infusions are recommended for weak digestion and general nervous and physical debility. Sage has a folk tradition of aiding memory and enhancing longevity.  It is beneficial to the liver and kidneys. Because of its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, Sage poultices and tinctures are applied to cuts and bruises.

A strong infusion is traditionally used as a rinse for dark hair to add lustre and strength, and the Romans used frayed sage sticks as toothbrushes.

Sage Tincture

Loosely fill a jar with fresh finely chopped sage (you can also use dry sage but fresh contains more essential oils). Pour in enough apple cider vinegar to cover and add a teaspoon of Agnihotra ash. Make sure the lid is screwed on tightly, and shake the contents.

Place in a warm area out of direct sunlight for two weeks and shake the jar daily. Then strain the whole mixture through a muslin cloth and squeeze out all the liquid, which is now a concentrated herb extract. Pour the tincture into sterilized dark glass bottles and be sure to label and date them.

You can use the sage tincture in many ways:

  • digestion tonic – take about 1 tsp in half a glass of water
  • sore throat – add 1 tbsp on 1/3 cup of warm water and gargle
  • hear rinse – Mix one part of vinegar  with three to four parts of water. Apply the vinegar mixture to your shampooed hair. Let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then, rinse.
  • injures like twists or sprains, bruises – make compress by dipping cotton cloth in sage vinegar and applying on effected area.

Agnihotra and Radioactivity – by Ulrich Berk

Fukushima has dramatically demonstrated that no longer is nuclear radiation poisoning a hypothetical threat to the health of all living beings.
Chernobyl and some other nuclear accidents should have been enough warnings. But now, Fukushima makes it urgent that any and all means to survive be tried.
The article below contains very interesting information on the effects of Agnihotra and Agnihotra ash on problems caused by nuclear radiation.

Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya is the first ecovillage in Poland. For over 20 years our international community has been creating a safe haven, a place where people can learn organic gardening, sustainable living and creative expression through arts and music. This lifestyle is further strengthened by a strong spiritual foundation that is non-denominational and universal.

The focus of our educational Homa Therapy Foundation (NGO) has been sharing the healing, life-transforming tool of Agnihotra, a Vedic science that heals not only mind, body and spirit, but also our environment.

We are building the Centre of Light to provide a much needed venue where teachers, healers, artists, seekers and pioneers can share their gifts for humanity and for our planet. A place where people receive support for their personal transformation, at a time of great global transformation.
