On September 21 & 22, 2013 Agnihotra practitioners from around the globe participated in a network of Agnihotra being performed on the September Equinox. The aim was to create a grid of Sacred Fires or 'firing the grid' and to ideally have two waves of Agnihotra fires moving around the planet (one for sunrise, one for sunset).
We received many responses from people all over the world informing their coordinates. We were amazed to find every continent represented, and people from Alaska to Africa, from Europe to U.S.A., Australia to Russia, Japan to Hawaii. There were more than 450 Meridiens of Longitude represented with Agnihotra Fires in more than 50 countries. There may have been more that we were unaware of.

On the 13th of May, the birthday of Shree Vasant (preceptor of Homa Therapy) twenty Singaporeans performed twenty Agnihotra Fires for the elderly in 'Swami Home' in Singapore.
Singaporean Ramon Quek, who now runs a Sai Baba centre in Western Australia, founded this aged care home in Singapore.

Mrs. Betty L. Khoo writes:
"Thank you so much for the opportunity to showcase Agnihotra fires taking off in Singapore. Singapore is an Island City-state of only 224+ square miles."
Having "waited" about 10 years for Agnihotra, I enthusiastically organized a 'Healing Self & the Planet with Homa Environmental Therapy' retreat for the Homa Therapy teachers Lee and Frits Ringma from Australia."

During our visit to Malaysia in July 2010 we traveled south to Johor to an Organic farm and Eco Tourism Resort called Tanjung Sutera. Being relatively close to Singapore and the facilitator Betty Khoo having a network extending into Singapore, many Singaporeans attended the 2 day Agnihotra Retreat. As a result there is now a core group of Singaporeans practicing Agnihotra.
