AGNIHOTRA fights Chikungunya Fever in Mauritius

Sheila Moloo reports from Mauritius Island:
Something terrible was happening in Mauritius. Since last year a terrible infection known as "Chikungunya" fever caused by mosquito bites was affecting thousands of people in Reunion Island, which forms part of the Mascareignes Islands in the Indian Ocean. Being in the neighbourhood, "Chikungunya" did not spare people of Mauritius where about five to eight thousand people were infected by this disease.

Happenings in Panama

In 1997 together with Maria Alejandra Mendez from Venezuela and Roger Subotnik from US, I took part in a highly successful project to eliminate the plant disease Sigatoka Negra from a heavily infected farm in Puerto Armuelles, Panama, using only Homa Therapy methods.

In January, 1997, Roger Subotnik and I traveled to Panama to introduce Homa Therapy as a means to combat the plant disease Black Sigatoka. This leaf fungus attacks banana and plantain crops, and has killed thousands of acres of plantain trees in Venezuela and Colombia. Stronger and stronger fungicides have been used to fight the disease, and some success has been achieved for a while. But eventually a point is reached when the only chemicals capable of killing the fungus are also deadly to man. Hundreds of farmers in South America have abandoned their farms due to the devastation caused by this disease.
